Welcome to Typebased! Typebased is a gallery showcasing the best and brightest typographic logos from designers all over the world. Proper use of type is essential to good logo design. When a designer is able to create a great logo based solely on type they’ve really done something inspiring.
Do we really need another logo gallery?
Probably not. There are several sites that offer up daily inspiration for logo designers. That’s why I hope to bring something a little different to the design community. Typebased was created to showcase only the best typographic logos on the web. I believe this specificity will set Typebased apart from the exisiting galleries.
I’ve added links on the right side of the page to a few of my favorite sites. Be sure to check them out for a wider range of logo designs.
For Logo Designers
This site is being built with designers in mind. I believe, when it comes to design, there is no such thing as too much exposure. Having your work seen across a wide range of websites can only serve to bring more viewers and potential clients your way. Every logo submitted to this site will include your name and a link to your website or portfolio. It’s my personal guarantee that no logo will be displayed on Typebased without your permission. If you ever want your work removed for any reason, just let me know.
